Hello

We are moving to cairo in sept 2013. I am keen on sending my 8yr old to CAC. My husbands workplace is in Heliopolis, El hegaz. I want to know which would be a good place to stay (katameya, maadi, zaamalek, maadi). I am ok if my son has to travel for 20 mins everyday. At the same time, am looking for a place which is not too far to drive to heliopolis!

Pls HELP.

if you are ok that your son only has to travel 20mins each way every day - then the only place to live is on the doorstep of the school - literally!!

Hi,

I believe Kattameya is your best bet. It's in between Cairo American College and Heliopolis.

It depend on the budget or the price U are going to pay for rent that house , inside Qattamia Heights is very expensive and price range betn $3000 up to $8000 for semi furnished property but sure it is safe and secure , u have also Arabellea Compound and Lake view compound , all compounds only far 25-30 min to C.A.C .
