What sort of things are you interested, anyway?
If you know the place around the Ramaniyah Mall (aka the Filipino Mall) which is located near the Corniche, you can find quite a few stuffs there. Not in that mall, outside of it.
There are stalls for Persian and Iranian carpets, Saudi memorabilia and collectibles, and gold and precious stone jewels. They usually open after 3:00 in the afternoon.
If you're looking for clothes, then I suggest you visit the Mall of Dahran or Al Rashid Mall.
