Hi,

For the ones living in Emilia Romagna, what would you suggest to discover the region?

When you have friends or family visiting you, where do you go with them? What are the must-see places in Emilia Romagna, the tourist sites?

How to visit the region in an original way? Any unusual or unknown place to recommend?

What would you suggest for a couple of days of for a week of holidays in Emilia Romagna?

Towns I recommend visiting are Bologna, Ferrara, Parma and Ravenna.

If you are looking for seaside life, I would pick Riccione (full of clubs and bars), Rimini and Milano Marittima.

For smaller towns you can pick some ideas at: borghitalia.it

2 unusual but worthwile itineraries:

1) the right bank of Po river, starting from Piacenza until Comacchio and the Delta (which is the naturalistic area around the estuary of the river)

2) the hill/mountain area on the south of the region, starting from Piacenza until Rimini
