Hi,

For the ones living in Aarhus, what would you suggest to discover the region?

When you have friends or family visiting you, where do you go with them? What are the must-see places in Aarhus, the tourist sites?

How to visit the region in an original way? Any unusual or unknown place to recommend?

What would you suggest for a couple of days of for a week of holidays in Aarhus?

I have never been sightseeing in Aarhus but I have lived there my whole life. Den Gamle By (the old town) and ARoS is probably two places you should see. If the weather is good you can have picnic in the Botanic Garden. Also the new constructions at the harbour (Isbjerget and Lighthouse) are very stunning and Strandbaren can be worth a visit. The most interesting bars you will find is located in Mejlgade and Skolegade, the more popular ones are at the creek. If you like nature you can walk around Brabrandsøen and in Risskov forrest.
