Places to visit in Chiba

Hi,

For the ones living in Chiba, what would you suggest to discover the region?

When you have friends or family visiting you, where do you go with them? What are the must-see places in Chiba, the tourist sites?

How to visit the region in an original way? Any unusual or unknown place to recommend?

What would you suggest for a couple of days of for a week of holidays in Chiba?

Thank you in advance for participating ;)

Julie

There are so many places in Chiba:
Tokyo Disneyland (which actually is in Chiba)
Kamogawa Seaworld (or it may have been called seaparadise)
Mother Bokujo (MOther farm)
Doitsu Mura (German Village)
Chiba has many nice beaches and nice camping spots
I am not sure if this is in chiba but there is a place called CHICHIBU which is a quite nice camping spot

I would like visit to Doitsu Mura (German Village) .

Hi pacbo,

I love to discover new places.

If you really want to see an amazing area, and turn the clock back to old, traditional Japan, get old train at Goi Station, towards Fusamoto, etc! It's unmissable! A real MUST: pbase.com/jdrpc/image/147896900
The train itself, the line, etc...
A visit to old Urayasu, near the canals, is also easy, cheap and very interesting!
