Hi,

For the ones living in Guangzhou, what would you suggest to discover the region?

When you have friends or family visiting you, where do you go with them? What are the must-see places in Guangzhou, the tourist sites?

How to visit the region in an original way? Any unusual or unknown place to recommend?

What would you suggest for a couple of days of for a week of holidays in Guangzhou?

Hi Julie!

What kind of places you usually prefer to visit?

If you are into history, you can go to the new Guangdong Museum in Zhujiang New Town and explore some interesting old ancient villages in Guangzhou.

For families and especially traveling with kids I　would recommend Chimelong where they have water park, amusement park, circus and a zoo.

Let me know what kind of places you like and I can come up with some more recommendations.

Good luck. I found lots of ideas. Also pick up some of the local magazines in English :: That's PRD; In the Red; and I just picked up a map of cultural locales from a bookstore/museum.
