Hi,

For the ones living in Illinois, what would you suggest to discover the region?

When you have friends or family visiting you, where do you go with them? What are the must-see places in Illinois, the tourist sites?

How to visit the region in an original way? Any unusual or unknown place to recommend?

What would you suggest for a couple of days or for a week of holidays in Illinois?

The following parts if Chicago I would recommend living in. Obviously this strictly my personal opinion and income plays a very important role in deciding where to live.

- Aurora
- Naperville
- Geneva
- St. Charles
- Downers Grove
- Lombard
- Batavia

Taxes are SIGNIFICANTLY lower in DuPage, Kane and Kendall counties. Especially on liquor and tobacco. Cook county, the county in which the City of Chicago is located is taxed heavily and no one knows where the money goes - and I certainly do not either.
