in terms of opening a shop adopt the same strategy - do your homework in the area that you are hoping to open - identify the specific need or opening for a shop - many shops open and then close shortly afterwards - just like bars do - we have one just opened and in my opinion will fail as its just not getting the custom and its in the wrong place many have tried it before and failed - even those with lots of financial and experience backing. But on a positive note i wish you the best of luck in whatever you decide to do - just do the homework, check everything and then check it again. then get someone who had the required experience to look it over.
