Hi

I am getting a permanent job in Kiev, Ukraine and the company would file for IM-1 Visa ( work permit )

I just wanted to know how long does the process take.
2 weeks ? 1 month or more to get the visa stamped on my passport in home country once the employer applies for IM-1 in Ukraine.

Also is the visa issued for 1 year and has to be renewed every year or can be issued for longer duration as I am getting a permanent job.

Length of time, your guess is as good as anyone else. Companies with clout can usually run them through quickly. As for the 1 year length, that is standard. Send me a private email. I have something I would like to discuss with you. Better yet, your email address ... Gaumarjos!
