Hi, I'm moving to Chiang mai 'soonish' (three or four months).
Are there maid services in Chiang mai or are maids hired privately?

Most maids are hired by word of mouth. When you get here PM me and I will give you our maids phone number. The services are a ripoff. They charge $30 or more and give the maids $5 to 10 per job keeping the rest for "overhead".

Thanks. I've never used a service so I wasn't sure how they worked/charged/etc.
