Arar is like the Muncie of Indiana - but in Saudi Arabia. You will not be living in a compound. I'm guessing you looked up living arrangements before considering Saudi Arabia and the example they gave you was of a compound, something akin to a small town. In Ar'ar there is no compound. There is one building. About 8 different apartments on separate floors, three roommates per apartment; usually two bathrooms (I know, they probably promised promised your own bathroom). In the building there is a pool room/tv room/exercise room. There's about 25 people total so far: the men being between their 30s and 50s and white converts, the women usually a bit older with the young generation probably leaving soon. The Americans (from the US) make 3,000 USD or more a year. What company are you considering?
