Looking for Jobs in Taiwan

Hi there,

I'm new here and will like to seek advise.

I'm 22 years old, Singaporean and proficient in both Chinese and English. (We can only enter taiwan on Visa exemption for up to 30 days.)

Looking for jobs in Taiwan, however there are some difficulties.

I'll be commencing school in August but I took up the 3 months course in Mandarin Language Center while waiting for the Hai Qin classes in February. The class will only ends in November. (registration in july)

Also my past working experience, 2and 1/2 years in travel agent, selling tours and as tour escort, 1 year in airlines and 2 year call-center relevant experience.

I will like to seek advice in following area:
1. Advise in job seeking for company that will hire and apply work permit on behalf.
2. It is difficult to look for jobs without ARC most website requires registration on getting ARC.
(Website like yes123)
3. Is there anyway of extension without work permit or the HAiqin?

Can i be able to get job opportunities in Taiwan, i have a diploma in hotel management. Kindly reply to me

It shows that you are from Kenya. Is that correct?

I think it would be almost impossible to get a job in Taiwan at this moment due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But I am curious why you would want to find a job in the hospitality industry in a place like Taiwan. Are you a fluent Mandarin speaker? Your profile shows that you only speak English. Anyway, I really do think that it would be easier to search for a job once this pandemic is over, and perhaps search for a job in the middle eat or in Europe when they are more readily receptive to employing Africans.

But you should know right now that probably tens of thousands of people all over the world in the hospitality business are being laid off or fired due to these difficult times. Sorry to be so negative.
