Hey 
I would like to go to the USA, specifically to California. In two years i going to have bachelor's title and i want some time (e.g. 2 years) working in California in IT industry.
And why i created this topic - I want to ask, how high are usual costs for the normal life in USA (California)? - I am 21 y.o..
I think e.g. the costs for flat (2 (rooms) + 1 (kitchen)), eletricity, water etc... for a month?

About 5000 a month for 4 people 1,600 for 1 person in an apartment. SUCKS BUTT

I think 40k is ok. The cost of living really is the same everywhere, housing is the big difference. New automobles, clothing, food and other stuff do not change as you get away from here.
