after my explorationtrip in April this year I was so convinced that Bulgaria would be the right country to retire.
Now I heard that most Bulgarians use chemicals in their gardens Is that really true?

Yep. In 7 years all the Bulgarians I know do use chemicals. It's the only way to 'almost' guarantee a good crop.

Many do use chemicals sadly, although some of us are more forward thinking and have gone the organic route with good results.
Nothing guarantees a good crop, not even chemicals and I'd rather know that what I'm eating hasn't been sprayed with carcinogenics or other nasties.
