Should my partner from Argentina consider living in England with me

Hi,
I am english, living in spain on and off for 7yrs, and living with my partner from Argentina for five years.

I HAVE A QUESTION
I wish to return to England, but my partner hasworries and concerns
..
i.e how easy it would be for him to establish himself and obtain all the necessary paperwork, necessary to stay, and to work on a self employed basis,
he is 57yrs old but very young in mind and soul and open to most challenges,
is there anyone that could offer any advice that would put his mind at rest or are his worries a real concern to take into consideration.
I am interested to know, of your experiences and what you think of the culture and weather in England

Unless your partner has EU citizenship you will need to marry/ form a civil partnership. There is no work visa for self-employed people. As his sponsor you will need to meet certain financial requirements and have suitable accomodation so you may need to move first and set all this up.
