That Salary is good from my point of view,since you are a foreigner, you will just have to consider what kind of housing you want. I guess you should be willing to settle in an apartment less than 300USD.

what about the accommodation, travelling expenses, food and other benefits? did you know that?

if they offer only 1500 dollars, and all the expenses is yours, then you can able to save around 1000$ if they offer all other benefits then you can save more than that!
