Hi All,

Wondering if anyone can advise on the process of hiring a live in maid in Dubai. Is it easy and straight forward? What's the typical salary and where do I begin the search?

As far as I know it's easy and straight forward. One of my friends posted an advertisement in Dubizzle and got a live in maid within few days.

Did a search for you in Dubizzle UAE. Here is the link:

Hey nevermore!

Thanks for the help! I've been looking into the matter a bit more as you suggested and was happy to discover a big market for helpers in Dubai. As an employer I guess you'd need to be a resident of Dubai first as a prerequisite and then let the agency sort out the paperwork. What if I was to bring a maid with me from Singapore?
