I just received a PM from a chef in Iran, asking if there's a position in Ecuador for her as an international chef.  I responded that I would answer in this existing thread.

A professional visa allowing you to stay in Ecuador working as a chef requires that you present the EC ministry with an official offer of the job in the form of a legal contract.

Given that international chefs, so far as I know, are not offered a sensitive position such as you seek without an interview, along with the fact that you are over 8,000 miles away, the prospects appear poor. Unless you have the will and the means to visit here and demonstrate capability.

You have the added disadvantage of the government's position on employment, which favors the hiring of Ecuadorians over foreign nationals when both are qualified for a job.
