I have been in England all my life- and am due to marry an American in June- I have always wanted to try life elsewhere so we may come and live in the states.........
oh for a warmer climate........
having never been to the states I would love some opinions...
As to where, Hubby to be is a software tester so we were thinking North California may be good for job prospects?
It is important that we secure him a job before we move- i work freelance so can set up whereever we land- but his job is a bit more specific so we need to go to where he can get work. Any ideas or opinions here?

Do you mean North Carolina? IT is not my field but there are many IT companies in the Research Triangle Park between Durham and Raleigh. Your husband would have to find an employer who would sponsor him for a visa. You should visit first to get an impression and maybe make contacts.
