All these questions have been asked and answered on the site, so a search will give you a general idea. You need to be more specific about what your skills are and what you want to get from living in Malta.
Not sure what you mean when you say "both of us have permission to work" do you have a job offer?

I know everything you can find here, but each case is one case...

I didn't want to go deeply on the topic or even to ask too many things, afraid of no answers.

Basically, I have degree in Marketing and IŽd love to find something in that area, but abroad I'm working as a Barista and my Wife is a stock controller in a big supermarket.

No, I don't have any job offer, unfortunately! I just wrote it referring I'm Brazilian with permission to work in EU.

If you read the large amount of advice here, though each case is different, you will see a pattern to the questions and the answers.
The advice is sound, you just need to pick out the bits that apply to your hopes.

How exciting. Malta is great and I love it here. The 'busy' part of the island is Sliema/St Julians with lots of cafes, restaurants, and little shops (& loads of tourists). Its impossible to find parking and there are lots of cars on the roads and it always feel very busy. The island has lots of beautiful places to stay and you wont make a sure decision until you are here and see them. I chose Swieqi which is very close to St Julians, but far enough to be quieter. I like to socialise so wanted to try for the best of both worlds. I have been here for 5 months and so far, I am happy with my choice. (I have been to Malta a few times before, so knew a little of the island.)If you want a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle, the south of the island is gorgeous. Mind you, so is the north.....
The cost of life will depend on your tastes, but you can budget here, like anywhere else, and I am sure you will manage to live within your means. I can spend anything from 50 euro a week on groceries.
I did most of my research before moving here so I had a good idea of what to expect. This site is great, but you do need to trawl through past posts and remember to check the dates of the posts as loads are very old and can be outdated.
Work is a difficult question to answer. There are lots of jobs advertised which can give the impression that there are lots of vacancies. You could find yourself applying for jobs and never hearing back and the whole process taking months from applying, to interview, through to actually starting. Start looking at the job sites now to get a feel for the demand. One of the most popular sites is called 'Keep Me Posted'.
