Greetings.
My wife works for the UN and we are moving to Addis in a couple of months. I am the dependent spouse who will have hard time finding work. Anyone know what the going rate is for English teachers? I have a MA in TESOL and worked for the last 10 years or so in various universities (i.e. I am not a new college grad who thinks his/her BA makes them an English teacher). Just trying to get an idea before I get there. Thanks.

My husband and me are soon going to install in addis, my husband will work for the European Union, we are French and I would like to take classes in English, are you interested to teach individuals, I am speak english not very well, and I would like to improve myself.

Hi;
Can't help you much with your actual question. BUT do be very careful regarding having a formal income. Over here it is not allowed for accompanying spouses to be employed as I understand it.
