Moving to Stockholm to do a PhD

Hi,

my name is Abraham, I am from Seville (Spain) and I am considering a position to do a PhD in the KTH. I have not decided yet, and I'd like to know in general terms, how is living there.

The main issue I am considering is the climate. Winter should be very hard there and that's make me think twice... I guess that as Stockholm is the capital, should there be a lot of social life, cultural events, etc.. but that's what I am guessing. I don't know it for sure.

I hope you can give me your opinions about the city.
