First Londoner!!

Hi Im currently living in Austria Wien
and going to see London next week with my friends

Im so excited!! Everyone tells me I will love the city.
I think so too.

Any suggestions for First time London Visitor?

I cannot wait!! :)

Welcome aboard Sky1111 -
You will sure love London as there are so many places to see - so basically lots to see and do there. It all depends on which part of London you are visiting.

The best places i would recommend is and around Central London.
Alot of your visit will depend on what you like doing. Are you a sight seeing person or are you into clubs, nights out or both. Either way London is a busy place and you will for sure enjoy your trip there. :D

Let me know and i can help/recommend some places to you. ;)

Jaz

hey there, there are plenty London sightseeing places. If you need any info let me know. Ed

The central area is full of things to do and easily enough to keep you busy for a full week.
The Chinatown is small but there are some excellent restaurants. If you go, find a restaurant full of Chinese people, not one with English customers.
DO NOT GO INTO THE SATELLITE TOWNS, ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT.
Many of these, Brixton being a good example, can be seriously dangerous places.

Yes London is a great awesome fantastic and amazing place.
I cannot believe I didn't go until this time...

Im planning for my second visit already!!!
My favorite was Picadilly, Big Ben and Hyde Park.
The view of Tower Bridge is spectacular!!!

I loved loved loved it

Thank you

and I loved Friendly and nice people too..

and guess what It didn't rain at all.
I had sunshiny days, who said London has bad weather? haha

Just saying hello to people on the street and make a conversation
what can I say..... just love it so much!!!!

I think I want to live there one day

Glad you enjoyed your trip to London. :)

There is indeed lots to see and do there. The area you were in, Piccadilly, Big Ben were there right places to see the real London sight seeing stuff. If you keep in this area and the surroundings there's alot more, like Whitehall, Buckingham Palace, Oxford St, Trafalgar Sq, St. James Park, The London Eye and so on.. :D

Not all places are bad in London, but I agree with mas Fred and keep away from the satellite towns and be vigilant at night. :|

If it didn't rain that's a bonus

Yes Every big city has same alert system to be on your head I guess.
I took the bus tour, very touristic choice cause I was Tourist!!
haha So, I could see all the areas you mentioned as well
and Nottinghill, and went to see musical the Once in Pheonix.

I just cannot believe I took so long to see amazing city.
The London has vibe, active, diversity, culture, history and sense of humour!!!
the biggest motivation to visit London was the show Little Britian.

Im so going on July and will be careful with crime and traffic.

Thank you

ps what are you doing in Bahrain? meanwhile leave London behind :-)

When you look at Bahrain, you will appreciate how nice it is :)

You're right, London definitely has a nice vibe to it, its always buzzing. That and the good things around are what makes London a very attractive city to visit.
