Hi,

As most I have many questions about my move to Malta, can someone provide me with the following as I am looking for an IT postion and was wondering.

1. What is the basic work hours in England I work 37 Hr however In America I worked 40?
2. working in IT is some jobs flexi hours our strictly base hours such as 8:00 - 5:00?
3. How many days holidays are you assigned in a new post? only asking as in America its 10 in England its 22.
4. Do you normally get paid weekly, bi-weekly or monthly?
5. Is the dress code business, business casual, or casual?

Would appreciate any feedback especially about the hours as I am a single parent with a 3 year old and I'm trying to work out nursery schedule.

Malta really varies with the dress codes company to company, I am in IT as well working for a good company here in malta, and my uniform is typically shorts, t-shirts flip-flops and tattoo's. It's a standard 9-5 gig monday through friday so 40 hours a week, but as an admin Im on call often as well so.... we all know how that goes.

Pay here is typically Monthly.
