Hi there,

I am moving to Thailand and wanted to know if as a Canadian Expat in Thailand, expat insurance is needed or something most expats get? Also is there a need to travel back to Canada every 6 months?

In order to help you with your query a little more info would be useful.

For example what do you mean by "expat insurance?"

Travelling back to Canada every six months? Up to you I guess. However I suspect you might be referring to visa requirements for Thailand so please clarify.

Lots of things can effect your options including(but not exclusively)

your age group?

work status?

visa you intend to arrive on?
