Any expats in poitou charentes région

My married partner and I moved to Courlay about a year ago and bought a house here,we have been working on it giving it care personal touch. John and I have really enjoyed going out and exploring the french countryside here their is so much to see,and we are both working on our french,we hope to apply for residencey in 5 years.
