We are from Australia and are quite interested in a property on Aore Island, would like to hear from anyone that can share any info or experience. We would also like to know where to get the best information on becoming non residents for tax purposes.
Mainly how often we can go to Australia and for how long without effecting our non resident status.

Hi Darryl, I know this is an old post, but we are in the same boat, looking at land in Aore. Did you make the move Since you listed this post? I'd be interested to know your trouts and findings, as we are new to this idea. I'm heading over for 3 days to check out the land were interested at the end of this month. Cheers Karen
