Relocating my pets with me to Egypt

I have a cat and 2 ferrets that I really hate to leave behind in the USA. But I don't know the first thing about taking them with me. How difficult will it be to get them there? Can I crate them together if they are sedated? Bring them as carry on? Should I leave them here and send for them later? How much does it cost to use a pet relocating service and who should I use?
I really have so many questions and don't know even where to begin. All I know is that I would need their medical records and a clean bill of health. Any input would be awesome!!! Thanks in advance.

You need to think carefully about the environment you are bringing your pets into as compared to where they are now and then decide whether you bring them with you or not.

I personally would not as they would not survive in Egypt.

You are best to look online for a pet relocation companywho specialises in overseas shipments.

hi
you need to make sure they are fully vaccinated and microchipped - becuase they have to travel on a pet passport - vaccinated against rabies especailly.

But I must agree - I woldn't travel to EGypt with any of my pets - the environment / climate is very different.

I don't know whether or not you keep them in cages / garden but the life would be ery different here - and you also have to think of the temperature.

Also you may find if you need a vet - they could very well be sketchy to say the least about ferrets (they have probobaly never seen one).  ALot are not very good with the 'standard' pets - dogs and cats - never mind ferrets.

Thank you very much for your advice... I think the best thing to do is just pass them along to my family here in the states. I will miss them very much, but I would rather miss them knowing they are being loved and well taken care of than missing them because they did not survive.
