Economic reasons to move to Ecuador?

Were there any economic reasons to move to Ecuador vs any other Latin or South American country? Is there any one that provide me some insight?

economy is booming here. land prices are going up and you can own land here.

Historically, one of the most stable governments in all of Central and South America

Use of the Greenback (arguably, of course, but it has brought financial stability)

Long and short-term projects that are designed to bring work to Ecuador, like the building of an Ecuadorian Silicon Valley (up near Quito), as well as a policy of "Ecuador-first" in terms producing and selling products here.

Willingness to put money into alternative energy, i.e., building of Windmill farms.

A stable (even though seemingly volatile) political population which does not tolerate Government nonsense. This is not obvious, but look at some of the protests that have taken place (over water rights, for example) and you will see that Ecuadorians can be pushed, but when push comes to shove, they will force the government to act responsibly, unlike some countries we all know.
