School for a 4/5 year old

Hi

I am looking for a primary school for my 4 soon to be 5 year old. In the UK they start school when they're 4 but I don't know if this is the same for Uganda. Ideally I would like a British curriculum school but our budget is about $2-3000/year which rules out the 4 main schools that come up on every possible search. I would love some suggestions please. I know Kampala and we have not yet decided on exactly where we will settle so open to all suggestions.
