We are considering moving to Dubai from California. We currently Own property in TX and in the process of purchasing one here in Cali. Since we know Dubai is tax free and we would need to apply for residence visa, do we would need to continue paying state or/ and federal taxes in either state since we would continue to own property in the US?
What's the moving expense?

Americans will continue to pay taxes as appropriate, even if working in the UAE. Check your Tax laws or Tax Consultant.
