Im looking to move from Tempe AZ USA to Ecudor , a town called Valacambaba,
has anyone moved there and what is it like, is it safe, and how much does it cost to live in this town?
Anyone looking to sell by owner or Rent out for a few years let me know.

Vilcabamba is a small, quiet town with limited infrastructure. Costs can easily be controlled and the mercados nearby offer anything you might desire, but require a car to reach them. We were there for a short time and loved the tranquility. But we prefer a slightly larger town with more choices. But I would suggest visiting and determining that this is acceptable to you.
The town seems quite safe. We walked everywhere, day and night and had no trouble. But there has been a recent incident involving a Canadian expat.
There are real estate agencies in the town that can help. Check for Vilcabamba real estate on the web.
Temperatures are cooler than Arizona, being a temperate climate and very green.
