Hello, I would really like to get a job in Brisbane area in the teaching field. I would rather not work in the languages. I will have six years of experience plus be certified for USA in may. How hard is it to find a job on the public or college sector? What are some steps I should tease before I arrive? I would like to get a job before I arrive in the middle of may.

In one side, the economy of Australia is struggling, getting job is still a nightmare even Australians. On the other side, with your US certification, you might have a chance to be absorbed anywhere. I'd not stick with any specific job category.
