Questions about doing a 1-2 year stint in Provo, Turks & Caicos

Greetings,

I am a California native (Silicon Valley area), but have the potential opportunity for an exciting job in Turks & Caicos.

My real questions are regarding the cost of living. I already live in one of the most expensive places in the United States but from what I've been reading living in Turks & Caicos can be extremely expensive.

Can anyone give a realistic estimate on what annual salary (in USD), would a single male be able to live comfortably in Provo, and still be able to have enough left over to put towards a nest egg.

Hello - curious if you made the move and if you like it?

I am seriously thinking about moving to Provo - but I am a single mother from the US. Can you tell me what life is like there, if you think I would be safe. Are there many mixed kids? What is the schooling like both private & public? Also - I have 7 years of experience in marketing at a leading NASDAQ listed travel company - any suggestions on sales & marketing jobs that are open?
