Advice please.

Help!  I just arrived in Malta yesterday to find my apartment had been broken into and ransacked. Cash was taken and a set of keys. I have had the front door lock changed but I'm hitting a blank wall at the moment with how to get the bathroom window (which was the point of entry)  secured. We will need a replacement but I doubt they can do that in the next few days as I go back to theh UK on Saturday. Trying to find someone who can come out and secure it for me with a lock or something is proving difficult and finding someone who will not rip me off with extortionate labour charges. The guy who did the door lock charged 50 euros for the labour and 70 odd euros for the replacement lock....Can understand the charge for the parts but he was only here about half an hour! So any advice on any one you know who might be able to sort it would be good. I'm in St Paul's Bay.
