Hello everybody !
Shortly
My friend with his wife need a good advice.
Where is beeter to do IVF (In vitro fertilisation (IVF) is a process by which an egg is fertilised by sperm outside the body)
We know 2 Hospitals
1) tudu.com.vn/   TUDU Hopsital
2)  bvdaihoc.com.vn  CƠ SỞ 4 - Bệnh viện Đại học Y Dược TP.HCM  243A Hoàng Văn Thụ - Quận Tân B́nh –

Which one is better? Can you give me advise ? Can you advice other place in HCM ?
Can you advise a good doctor speaking in english.

do you think is VN a good country to do IVF ?

All wishes

You should consult a doctor in a clinic, they usually hear all the rumbles about poor service that don't get in to the public media.

[Moderated: Off topic]

Calling Doc Jereostr, Calling Doc Jerostr. Is Doc Jereostr in the ward??

Dang!! I think my welcoming spiel scarred him off, in particular the part about Howie.

Dang you Anatta, first time we get a Doc as a member and you run him off. Thanks. Now what are we going to do?

dear! i still need your correct opinoin about IVF
maybe somebody got IVF expiriance

Sorry for the interruption. I have no experience in this area.

Hi

I have heard somewhere that many Vietnamese who lived and worked for a long time overseas then came back Vietnam to relocate and do IVF, and they said that the service is good here with a reasonable cost but I didn't ask any more about that thing because it is regardless to me. But I know some co-workers who did or have family member did it, so I will ask and update later.

Thank you .i will wait your news. as my friends have only this chance IVF to get baby.it is sad but it is the  life.
they are afraid that doctor from VN will  do IVF negligently for forinere.

ceccristobal :

... they are afraid that doctor from VN will  do IVF negligently for foreigners.

Why would you say/think this?

Many doctors are either wholly Western-trained or have received specialist training in the West. There are many visiting specialists to VN training hospitals who teach the latest techniques.

Perhaps they should be looking at Singapore or Bangkok if they have doubts. Bangkok is the cheaper option, usually.

If Cho Ray is qualified and capable of doing transplants, surely this indicates a high standard of professionalism?

i hope you are right i just said mymisgiving

After doing a small research, I suggest Từ Dũ Or Vạn Hạnh hospital

I will post the list of hospital providing that service in HCMC and will compare them upon what I have searched and heard from peoplea nd hope that it will helpful for you and whom it may concern.

Hopefully that I may post the result I have collected in this night.

Thnanks a lot. i have list of all hospital in HCM but it is real problem to choose the BEST! or just minimize the risk.

Too tired to type much this night, will post later

Dr.Luân was recommended to my frinds to make IVF.he works 243A Hoàng Văn Thụ - Quận Tân B́nh –

ceccristobal :

Dr.Luân was recommended to my frinds to make IVF.he works 243A Hoàng Văn Thụ - Quận Tân B́nh –
His number is 0988006XXX  does somebody know  about his work?

He has a very good reputation and lots of people trust him, very famous doctor in that field. He used to worked for FV Hospital, Hung Vuong hospital, Van Hanh Hospital, Y Duoc Hospital,...

I am not sure that he still works for FV, Hung Vuong,.. now. But he may still work for Van Hanh. So I suggest your friends use the service of Van Hanh. But it's only the name of doctor what your friends want they can chose Y Duoc hospital at 243A Hoàng Văn Thụ - Quận Tân B́nh

Sorry I was busy to compare hospitals, and still busy, but I will, you can wait if you want more information before make  the final decision

of coarse i t is not urgent busness. we have to much time.

I will begin with Van Hanh Hospital, then Y Duoc Hospital because the doctor your friends were recommended is from these one. Afterward, I will post about others, one by one.

But please note that information I give here just for reference only and there are my own opinions in some points. You should check again by yourself.

About Van Hanh Hospital:
-    Ministry of Health permitted Van Hanh Hospital launch the procedures of doing IFV from 7/2007 and granted accreditation  for doing IFV  from Feb of 2008.
-    Percentage of successful case is 38,8%.
-    Dr. Luan is an associated specialist of Van Hanh hospital
-    Equipment is modern, service is good and the environment (Include Room, bed, space,…) is more comfortable than some others.
-    Many foreigner do IVF in Van Hanh Hospital.
- My co-workers also say that they feel satisfy with the service and medical staff's attitude of Van Hanh Hospital

About the experience: can not compare with some other hospital which began doing IFV earlier such as: Y Duoc, Hung Vuong,… especially Tu Du. But I think the percentage of successful is not low, and the service for foreigner is good. Tu Du, Y duoc,…always overload and patient must  wait long time. Tu Du has lots of experience and very good technical , but  the crowed /cramped may make patient feel stress, and medical staff will have less time to pay much attention to patient if you compare with Van Hanh.

People  say that Van Hanh is a good choice for foreigner and those who want a comfortable environment.  But when occurring  an adverse/complication  lead to an emergency case, too difficult case or some stuff like that which the hospital cannot control and will threaten the life of patient or baby delivering , they may transfer patient to Tu Du or Cho Ray depend on how they assess that case. But that risk is very very rarely. I think when patient doing IVF, it’s not only upon the knowledge and technical of the doctor, but also the health, and comfortable feelings of  the patient during the process of doing IVF will decide the success of IVF.

People say that An Sinh is also a Hospital which provides IVF service for foreigners and many foreigners use its service. But I don’t like that Hospital that why I don’t find any more information about it. I came there one time, not for IVF, and the doctor I met did a wrong decision for a familiar disease. It might threaten my life. It made me  terrible disappointed because that disease could be control by most of hospital here.

I will continue with Y Duoc Hospital tomorrow or after that

About Y Duoc Hospital:

- In 1994, Minister of Health signed a decision to establish an general clinic called Y Duoc Clinic belong to University of Medicine and Parmacy

- In 2000, Minister of Health signed a decision to establish Y Duoc Hospital base on the emerging of Y Duoc clinic with some other clinics

- To date, the Hospital has 4 premises with 570 beds and 57 clinic include all of specialities. But its strengh (I want to say the speciality they do best ) is endoscopy and procedures/surgery use endoscope and stuff like that. And Y Duoc hospital is only Hospital focus on a discipline called anal speciality (I want to say that they very good at treat problem relate to anal/anus,...)

Doing IVF in Y Duoc Hospital:

- Obstetrical Department of Y Duoc Hospital was established in 2002. Although it is just a Department of a General Hospiatal, it operate/act as a Hospital of obstetrical speciality.

- Doctor Luan works for Y Duoc Hospital. Many people doing IVF come the Hospital for the name of the the doctor, not for the name of the Hospital. Some people come to this Hospital because Tu Du overload, because other hospital is more expensive and some other reason. My friends and my co-workers said that it's so "xô bồ" in Y Duoc Hospital, often overload, but what they provide patient is not extremely good:

+ If you compare with Van Hanh, the service, the way medical staffs treat patient, the environment,.... is not good as Van Hanh. But total cost may lower a bit (

+  If you compare with Tu Du, the technic, the knowledge and experience of Tu Du is better. Tu Du is the most famous in that field, the first Hospital doing IVF in Vietnam. The percentage of success when doing IVF in Tu Du is about 40%, and more than 3000 baby was born by IVF in Tu Du.

- People come Y Duoc because they feel tired of waiting their turn in Tu Du, because have more space in Y Duoc than Tu Du, because Y Duoc has Mr. Luan, because Y Duoc is acceptble, because they failed some times in Tu Du and want to try in a new Hospital to find new luck,...

- But, I saw a scandal of Y Duoc Hospital on the internet. The story is: From the week of 33th, a pregnant woman ewnt to the Hospital  every  week to check. But one day,  Dr. Bich of Y Duoc Hospital assess her and said that her baby (a 38 weeks baby) dead inside already, (but the result of the exam in the week before is verygood, nothing was wrong at that time). And unbelievable,  instead of admit the patient and did surgery to take the baby out the doctor said that she (the pregnant wonam) must to go home and wait until she can delivery the dead baby by nature or come back tomorrow if still can not delivery by nature. How can a doctor could say like that? This is the links I found the news in: http://vietbao.vn/Suc-khoe/Benh-vien-da … 14718/248/

and here http://vietbao.vn/Suc-khoe/Vu-thai-chet … 15477/248/

Before continuing with other Hospitals, I want to say sorry for a mistake (error) I did in the post above. Today, when I checked again my posts, I discovered that mistake and I have to correct it now. Next time, I will check information I give in my post  more carefully before posting.

Information about Y Duoc Hospital was not really wrong. And, information about Vạn Hạnh Hospital was not wrong too. But I did not mention important things which I should not omit.

About Y Duoc Hospital, "Many people doing IVF come the Hospital for the name of the doctor, not for the name of the Hospital". I was right in that point. But it means that patient come the Hospital to see Dr.Luan. He will exam, assess  the patient, and he will decide if IVF is necessary for the case or not? If not, he will recommend patient another treatment (I want to say he will treat by other ways than IVF if she still wants to be healed). Even if patient wants to do IVF only, he might not give her that treatment. If he decides to do IVF for patient, he will refer her to Van Hanh Hospital. Patient can do everything in Y Duoc Hospital except "take her eggs out and then return it inside the womb" (we call it "embryo transfer" right??? I'm not sure how to call it exactly :(). Y Duoc Hospital does not provide this service.

Now, it seems that I don't know if I was right or wrong when I said people come Y Duoc Hospital to do IVF. But if patient come Van Hanh Hospital and say: "I want too see Dr. Luan", staffs of Van Hanh Hospital will say:  "You can not find him here except coming Y Duoc to meet him first, and then he brings you here if he decides to do IVF for you".

Another way to meet the doctor is to come his own clinic at 164 Nguyễn Văn Đậu, District B́nh Thạnh. Some people say that patient can not meet him first time at his own clinic unless it is a exception. It looks like that he wants to meet people first time in Hospital only.

About doing IVF in Van Hanh, patient often pays about from VNĐ 40 millions to VNĐ 80 millions depend upon each case and which drugs/medicine are used for that treatment. And patients can let their embryo/germ in the Hospital if they pay about VND 6 millions per year. If it's just a matter of put embryo/germ into womb of patients, the charge is about VNĐ 8 millions each time.

I will talk about Tu Du Hospital and some other famous doctors later.

Hi,

I am Vietnamese. I haven't done any IVF. I just have s lot experiences including bad ones in hospitals in Ho Chi Minh city. I have a friend getting success with IVF at the third trying at Tu Du.  To be honest, we need luck when going to any Vietnamese hospital. We always expect better services and doctors are provided in Vietnamese hospital. Understanding that to know that we need consider some aspects in narrow extent to find our way.

So finally to making decision, you should consider some points that you can accept to exchange what you really need.

If I were your friend, I may choose Tu Du hospital and try to accept not very good service in some extent, crowded patients and waiting time to exchange good doctors, technology in IVF field that they gain.

I may not recommend her to choose Tu Du to giving birth if you do not have serious health problem influencing giving birth process.(Should choose private hospital to enjoy good service and comfortable atmosphere, doctors is just ok and enough good for normal giving birth without difficult cases) Because Tu Du is full of patients coming for giving birth so we may get poor services, room space and lack of care from doctors.

However, for the IVF matter, trying the service in Tu Du hospital (the first hospital in Vietnam to carry out this technology and get famous success that many foreigners know about it)would be reasonable choice. The second choice may be Y Duoc.  My friend said that Tu Du doctors works with high responsibility in this field. Anyway, I think Tu Du is a maternity hospital, they would focus on technology and research relevant to maternity more than others. Finally, she should be patient with this, my friend, who has some problems with her ovary and have to cut one ovary, just get success in the third time (last time) of one IVF treatment.

And now is turn of your friends' choice. Tell her relaxing her mind and go ahead with her confidence once she makes up her mind. Relaxation in psychology is one of factors making her success.

Hope it helps some. Wish your friends good luck and success!

ceccristobal :

I am really appreciate above inforamtion ;). But i am still waiting for more opions about IFV at Hospital of Vietnam
Maybe any Foriners  can write here opinions

All wishes

I also want to here more about opinions of foreigners doing IVF in Vietnam.

Because oakdaisy said that "The second choice may be Y Duoc", I want to tell some more about Y Duoc Hospital:

Y Duoc Hospital has 4 premises. And Premises 4 at Hoàng Văn Thụ is famous about treating sterilization than other. Above, when I said " Patient can do everything in Y Duoc Hospital except "take her eggs out and then return it inside the womb" (we call it "embryo transfer" right??? I'm not sure how to call it exactly ). Y Duoc Hospital does not provide this service ", It's above Premises 4 - where patient come to meet Dr. Luan.

But have 3 of 4 premises of Y Duoc Hospital doing something relate to that thing (give birth/Treat sterilization,...): One at Hoang Van Thu, one near Tu Du, one at Hong Bang street.

Relating to this field:

1. At Hoang Van Thu: Many people come, many people know about it. I want to say many people come to treat Sterilization

2. Near Tu Du: I heard that it's a nice premises, and many people come to give birth. Didn't heard that they come to treat sterilization there. For treating sterlization, they choose others

3. At Hong Bang street, near Hung Vuong Hospital: Some people come to do IVF here. But it's not famous. Not much people know about it. Think, if's it good, why Dr. Luan does not bring his patient to there. He work for Y Duoc but does not bring patients to that Premises, why???. (You should check this point by yourself again, or have anyone can help to check?)

With a foreigners, it will be more convenient if they choose Vạn Hạnh, An Sinh or Phụ Sản Quốc tế (less barrier of language than others)

Well, I don't like An Sinh. But I heard the price there more expensive than Van Hanh a little. Why? If it's not good, how can it charge a high price but people still come? I had a bad experience there but it's about a local disease. It's not mean that it's not good at doing IVF. (I'm thinking about changing my mind, I mean I might talk about An Sinh more. But later)

Tonight, I will talk about Tu Du. But now, have to go for shopping :)

I think many people here know that Tu Du is the best famous Hospital in that field. Not only IVF, everything from A to Z, everything related to that thing they are good all, if you compare with other. Every step of process of having a baby, they're good.

People comeplain about lack/poor of service, crowed,. not too much care,.. something like that. But why people come there to use their service? Why they're ready lying in floor because the Hospial full. Think about it?

I think a foreigner can not lying floor when, and Tu Du will never let that thing happen to foreigners when they come to do IVF , never.

When many people here think about giving birth, about go to exam what's wrong relating to that thing, they think about Tu Du first. Not all, but most of them. Then, they may be afraid that Tu Du may overload, afraid that the best doctor will have no time for them,.... and they choose another Hospital. But many ready to wait, ready to accept poor services. There are reason:

REASON 1: REASONABLE PRICE

Tu Du is a state-owned Hospital. The price is cheaper than some private Hospital. For IVF:

- VND 8.6 millions each time (normal IVF)

- VND 9.6 millions each time (IVF use eggs of others)

- If patient need perm of others (her husbuand has no perm), have to pay VND 3 millions more.

Do you thinh it's cheap? Yes, but with foreigner, that price will be double.. But after being double, it is still good price.

Price above not include medicine/drugs,.... Patients have to pay additions amount for all that stuff.

REASON 2: THE BEST SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE FOR EVERYTHING

oakdaisy :

I may not recommend her to choose Tu Du to giving birth if you do not have serious health problem influencing giving birth process.(Should choose private hospital to enjoy good service and comfortable atmosphere, doctors is just ok and enough good for normal giving birth without difficult cases) Because Tu Du is full of patients coming for giving birth so we may get poor services, room space and lack of care from doctors.

Daisy may be right. But Tu Du is the best. When the case is too difficult, when occurring averse/complication/something wrong that other hospitals such as An Sinh, Hạnh Phúc, Vạn Hạnh, Phụ Sản Quốc Tế can not control, they bring patients to Tu Du.

And some people said that, if a patient comes Tu Du and said that her baby is a IVF baby, she will be received more care. And they also said that the skills of best doctors of Tu Du is very very good.

With IVF baby, people may come Tu Du, choose to take the baby out when the bady is strong enough. No need to give birth by nature. So patient can be more active, and can choose the best doctors.

Choose a more comfortable Hospital or choose Tu Du, it depends upon the risk taste of the patient. Some patients just want to go Tu Du only.

And one more reason to give birth in Tu Du is that if having something after the delivery, Tu Du know how to solve, how to control (both the baby and the mother). If even Tu Du can not control, who can? Chợ Rẫy? ( I don't think so, but I will check more, and then come back to confirm later:P. We all know Chơ Rẫy is Hospital in spacial rank , is the number one Hospital here and is the final destination. By final destination, I want to say that when any Hospital in Ho Chi Minh city, not only Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City but also in any one of 37 Provinces/Cities of the South of Vietnam don't know how to control difficult cases, they may refer/transfer patients to Chợ Rẫy. But I didn't hear that people come there to give birth or do IVF)

oakdaisy :

However, for the IVF matter, trying the service in Tu Du hospital (the first hospital in Vietnam to carry out this technology and get famous success that many foreigners know about it)would be reasonable choice. The second choice may be Y Duoc.  My friend said that Tu Du doctors works with high responsibility in this field. Anyway, I think Tu Du is a maternity hospital, they would focus on technology and research relevant to maternity more than others

I agree with Daisy about that point. So I will not say anymore about it.

I talked about Tu Du many times when I said about other Hospital, when I compared them with Tu Du. And I may continue to mention about Tu Du when I talk about other Hospital/ Clinic/specialists which/who related to Tu Du. Therefore, I think it's enough to stop this post now

P/s: I hope that if any of you see any errors in my comments (if any) will ready to correct it ;)

This is my last post relating your question.

Have 2 group of Hospitals relating that field here:

Group 1: Public (state-owned) Hospitals: Hùng Vương, Từ Dũ, Y Dược,...

- Hùng Vương is a big Hospital relating to maturity, treat sterilization,... Very long time ago it is a part of Chợ Rẫy.. Hùng Vương, Chợ Rẫy, Y Dược Hồng Bàng are near each other. People can walk from Hung Vuong to Chợ Rẫy,to Y Dược Hồng Bàng...

- About Hùng Vương, they began doing ivf from 2004. Many people doing ivf come there for some reason. But they had a scandal. One patient doing ivf there and after tey take the eggs out her body, she did not wake up. Then they transfered her to Chợ Rẫy, but after 10 days from that date, she also could not wake up. This is link about that news http://www.baomoi.com/Choc-hut-buong-tr … 203573.epi and  http://vtc.vn/321-168947/suc-khoe/hon-m … o-sinh.htm

If I were patient who wanted to have baby. And want hospital with lots of experience. And I accept lower service (if comparing with some good private Hospital). My first choice would be Từ Dũ. Then my second choice would be to come Y Dược Hoàng Văn Thụ to meet Dr. Luân. Third choice would be Hùng Vương.

Group 2: Private Hospitals such as: Vạn Hạnh, An Sinh, Hạnh Phúc, Phụ Sản Quốc Tế,...

If I were patient wanted to do ivf and I want good service. First choice: Vạn Hạn;. Second choice: An Sinh. Then, Hạnh Phục/Phụ Sản Quốc tế

The price/costs: Group 2 is more expensive than group 1.

Besides Hospital above, there are 2 clinic I want to mention are clinic of Dr. Luân and clinic of Dr. Lan.

Clinic of Dr. Luân: I mentioned when I talk about Dr. Luân and Y Dược Hoàng Văn Thụ. If patient choose Dr.Luân, he will care and he himself will do most of thing for Patient (other Dr.Doctor will have an ekip/team and the principle doctoc might not care directly or less care than Dr. Luân)

Clinic of Dr. Lan:

- Dr. Lan is a famous doctor and is daughter of Dr. Phượng. Dr. Phượng is formal Director of Từ Dũ. (I want to say she was Dicrector, but now she's old, and she retired already). Dr. Phượng is very very famous in that field. She is the first doctor doing ivf in Vietnam. People call her "an angle" of babies. This is link about Dr. Phượng http://vi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nguy%E1%BB … E1%BB%A3ng

- Clinic of Dr.Lan is bigger Dr.Luân, and have many services. Dr. Tuân, head of ivf derpartment of Vạn Hạnh Hospital also works at this clinic. And Dr. Tường, husband of Dr.Lan, is also a doctor in that field. This is website of the clinic http://ivfvietnam.net/tin-tuc/detail.php?nid=258

- Dr.Lan and her ekip/team also doing ivf in Vạn Hạnh and An Sinh. I think this's reason why people come An Sinh.

Many many people are fan of Dr.Lan's clinic. But some says that Dr.Luan is better because thay think Dr.Lan is famous depend upon the reputaion of her mother.

For me, team of Dr.Lan and Dr.Luân is same same. Anyway, a foreigner should choose a private hospital with good service. It may more expensive but more convenient and more comfortable.

About Chợ Rẫy, it seems they do not provide ivf service. I din't see any information about that service on the website of Chợ Rẫy here http://choray.vn/NewsByType.aspx?CHANNE … OMHANG=14.

you can't go wrong on health!

Hi,

I think that you if you still fell worry, you should find more information from other forums for members who used to do that technology in Vietnam or Asia. You can ask them why patients get failure in UK, Germany, Australia, Canada and France come to Vietnam to do again. (source in 2007)

However, I guess they will have many different ideas because success rate may be very different from each couples. If considering other fields, I many have no exact ideas relevant to Vietnamese hospital. However, for  infertility matter, I read a lot good news from the technology of Vietnamese doctors. They have transferred that technology to some foreign countries.

I cannot post links here so just give you some words, you can check for more information from Google:

"High success rate for IVF fertility treatment at HCMC hospital"

"Vietnam has made significant progress in infertility treatment: experts"

"Foreigners find cure for infertility in Vietnam"

@ Nhi, I appreciate your information provided, you know a lot things relevant to hospital, I guess that you work for hospital. If someday I have some health problems and need some advice, just help me :)

Regards,
Daisy

oakdaisy :

@ Nhi, I appreciate your information provided, you know a lot things relevant to hospital, I guess that you work for hospital.

:) I have never worked for any Hospital before, but I might think about it

This is a great thread with a lot of good information. Does anyone know what type of medication is generally used?  I would love to see a photo of the medicine if possible.

you can try and search shreeivfclinic.com.. and have an online consultation

I would like to share my own experience of IVF in HCMC. There is very little information about this on the Internet, so I hope my experience will be useful to somebody. About myself: 30 years old, three years of infertility, polycystic ovaries. One year before IVF I had treatment in Hanh Phuc hospital, but when the situation came to IVF, I decided to use the services of a governmental hospital. Because, in my opinion, it is more reliable.  The hospital I have chosen has a reputation of the best women hospital in Vietnam. Besides, my friend got pregnant right after a successful IVF in the hospital. Therefore, I have chosen The “Tu Du” Hospital. All prices I’ll list in the end of my post.
To get an appointment at the Department of infertility, I had to find an interpreter who made my appointment by the phone. I think, if you come without making an appointment, you will see the doctor anyway, because there is no queue. I took a Vietnamese interpreter on the first three appointments because staff: nurses and some doctors do not speak English. So. On your first visit, you should come with your husband.! The first day we passed all the tests and talked to the doctor. It took us about 3 hours. On the second day, I came without my husband and doctor told me about the remaining tests and answered all my questions. After all, I was told to come back in two months! They have a very long waiting queue. Infertility department is in the block M on the 3rd floor. I highly recommend going there with an interpreter, at least, for the first few times.
On the appointed months, you should come to the hospital on the first or second day of your menstruation at 7:00. You have to come to the IVF lab. Which is located in block H on the eighth floor. There I also was with the interpreter. On the first day, you’ll have ultrasound, check the heart and talk to cardiologist who will make a statement about how anesthesia will affects you. After that, you will be prescribed the medicine to begin stimulation of superovulation.
You don’t see a doctor and don’t talk to anybody but nurses. You should buy medicine at the pharmacy, which is out side of the hospital. On your prescription will be written what you should do and when will be your next appointment. If you cannot do injections by yourself you can come to the hospital every day to 7 am, pay 10 thousand VND and nurse will give you an injection. I did injections by myself. Every two days you have blood tests, staff check the growth of follicles and each time prescribe the necessary medication. Ultrasound’s doctor speaks English. All the doctors (only doctors) in the IVF lab speak excellent English, but you will not intersect with them as long as everything goes well. On the tenth day of stimulation, after the ultrasound the doctor came to me and said that I had too many follicles and high chance of ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome! That was expected.  Therefore, after the follicles pick up and fertilization all my embryos will be frozen! Doctor asked if I agree. At first I was upset, but then decided that it was even better because I was very afraid of this complication. Not to provoke hyper stimulation doctor prescribed me a final injection without hCG (some different medicine). And I had to drink 4 liters of water every day! And I did it (it’s very important)!
In a day, I had follicles pick up. Anesthesia had no effect on me, I do not know why, but I was lying with my eyes open, looking around and felling strong pain during the egg retrieval. However, it is just ok and you can stay with it... just 10 minutes. :)  After that, I was taken to a ward, put on a bed with a liter of dropper to reduce the chance of hyper stimulation. When the dropper is over, the nurse came, removed the needle and gave me a prescription. On the paper was written that I have to come back in three days for consultation. After two hours at the ward I felt good, my husband helped me to get dressed and we went home. The main thing is to take Analgesic, which was prescribed, immediately!
Three days later, I met with the doctor, she told me about the quantity and quality of eggs, about how much eggs were taken and how many fertilized, as well as how many embryos were frozen and what grade. The doctor checked my belly and asked how I was feeling. By that time, I felt quite good. She said that if there are any problems I should immediately come to the hospital. Continue to drink three liters of water until the first day of periods. For transfer of the frozen embryos I can come back after one and a half months (after two menstruations).
      Conclusion.
When you find yourself in a middle of Vietnamese medicine, you starts to panic and despair! You really want to quit, just leave all this behind. There is a lot of people at the hospital!! It seems, that the staff does not pay any attention to you, and doctors do not see you at all! BUT! Looking back, I must say that everything was very professional and well done! As soon as you experience any problems or serious questions, the doctor comes to you and explains everything. After analyzing all the actions towards me, I must say that everything was very professional! In the end I didn’t have hyper stimulation syndrome.  I think it's all thanks to the precise actions of doctors!
I did not have embryos transfer yet, so that is too early to say about positive result. However, my friend got pregnant here (two years ago). From the first attempt.  I also hope for success. As I have heard repeatedly, Tu Du is the best hospital with the best doctors in Vietnam, so decide for yourself, but I would went through all this once again just to get the result!

P.S.
My IVF was in August. After that, I had three cycles, during which I have not reached the embryo transfer. Because of the weak reaction to medications . Only six months after IVF was chosen the scheme of treatment, which allowed me to carry out embryo transfer. Three unfrozen embryos were transferred. As a result, today I have a singleton pregnancy, 11 weeks. Three cycles of preparation, a successful cycle, medications, tests, and examinations cost me, about 1 500 usd.
