no need for any lawyers at all. As far as I know, the employer helps with the paperwork for the work permit, the employer who will be employing you directly.

thanks. the other question i have is whether the Work Permit can be processed by my company's branch in India or the branch in Belgium as I would be transferred from India office to the Belgium office. Should I sign a employment contract with the belgium office too to get my Work Permit.
