CAUTION: Make sure you have the right drivers!!!
Things audio are centred on Ly Thuong Kiet between 3-2 Street and Nguyen Chi Thanh. Note I used the word centred.
One block either side of Ly Thuong Kiet, on the side roads, as well as along Nhat Tao (one block off 3-2 Street towards Nguyen Chi Thanh) there are numerous stores with high-end (and middle range) audio equipment.
I have little interest in audio so I never bothered indexing the stores.
To aid your search write your needs down on a decent sized piece of paper, using a marker, with 'need' in Vietnamese so you can shop from the comfort of your motorcycle.
