I moved to Hyderabad in 1976 in the middle of the Emergency. I lived in this city for several years, I married a Telugu, girl, and my oldest son was born here.
As I look through the forum I am amazed at how much things have changed. Back then, there were almost no Americans in the twin cities. You could probably count them on your fingers. Virtually all of the Americans back then were associated with ICRISAT. Unfortunately they cloistered themselves away from the rest of Hyderabad so there was almost no interaction.
Well it is all very interesting.
