Hi guys! I wanted to seek for your help regarding my stay here in Egypt. I arrived 8th of October 2012 and got registered. I paid LE 120 for late registration through the help of my friend here. She is the one who helped me processed in the Passport office here in Ash Sharqiyah. Now, I wanted to renew my stay here for 2 more months and the passport office told me to go to Police Station to renew it. I wanted to do it in Cairo but unfortunately the situation is chaotic at the moment as we all know. My stay will turn 2 months on 8th of December and still my visa is not renewed. Any suggestion what I have to do next? Please help...

This is strange, normally you have to get a renewal at the passport office...

I got it done today in CID office and I need to go back to passport office to check the status of my visa extension after 15 days. Thanks
