Windsurfing in Nha Trang

Hi all,
has anyone heard about windsurfing here, in Nha Trang?
I haven't seen any sails yet...
Thanks!

There is not a lot of wind here. Possible one of the reasons. There is some kind of surfing outside Nha Trang, Bai dai beach, so well 20 km towards NT airport. A lot of beach shacks there - when you arrive, head very much left, the last has the name THE SHACK. However, I am not sure if they do wind surfing.

this flag painted on your face ...
are you spanish or do you have any connection with Spain?
we are in Vung tao, here there's a beach club which rents windsurf equipment
yo soy español, I do kitesurf, have my own gear, here great conditions, wind and waves.
we'll be staying around yet for a while
contact us if you wish
saludos

The wind blows, a lot, in Mui Ne.

Head south young man, head south.

(I seem to remember you didn't like MN)

thanks a lot l3ully, I'll check 'em out

¡hola flyman62000!
no soy espanol, pero soy guitarrista flamenco(:
thanks for the info and invitation, but isn't it some sort of a Russian (even Soviet) oilers' reservation with a Russian orthodox parish there?
¡saludos!

Hi Jaitch, you remember right, 3 days was way more than enough to get a strong feeling not to go to MN anymore.
but you're right, in terms of wind it is very good...

In Vung tao there are few old expats (I can't really tell about their ntionallity), which you can see once on a while with their viet girls but that is not a real problem :)
Vung tao is ok, wind is ok, waves are ok and you should be able to wind or kiteif you come here, no people on the water, that means all the beach is to yourself.
By the way, what was wrong in Mui né?  I haven't been there yet but I heard that there are too many people on the water and very choppy conditions ...

well, it sounds quite different from what I read and heard. good if I got a wrong picture of Vung Tau; and Vietnamese girls are definitely no problem at all(:
MN is no good - for me personally - because it is too Russian: Russian signs all over, Russian tourists, Vietnamese locals trying to speak Russian and not trying to speak English, etc.

is how MN beach looks like

I think they're renting windsurfs on the Bao Dai villas beach.
The Shack only has surf boards.
Wind (NE) is between november and march.
