Logement en colocation à Inwood (New York)

Hi all,

From 1st May to 1st July, I'll go in New York thanks to my studies so I'll have to rent an apartment.
My internship will be in Manhattan (5th Avenue) so I would like to have a shared room in Inwood (North of Manhattan). I really want to go over there because it is not too far from my firm  and the neighborhoods looks alive with shops and park. (Inwood Hill Park).
I would like to have a studio apartment with one person (about 10-15 meters²) because the rent is expensive in New York.
if I take a studio in Inwood with a person, is that I could have for 550 $ maximum per month ? (this is my budget)

Moreover, if a person is interested for a roomate in this neightborhoods during this time, please tell me
