Hi Andrea and welcome to Expat.com!

Have you tried to post an advert in the section Jobs in Malta? It may help.;)

Harmonie.

Hi Andrea,

welcome to the forum.

There is a thread titled ' job agencies' that should answer your question.

This years tourist/hiring season is just coming to an end. Hotels usually start looking for staff in Spring time but there still will be jobs going, depending on your qualifications.

Family doctors in Malta usually do not employ nurses although there might be a few larger specialist practices that employ a nurse.

In Malta nurses are usually employed either in the Health Centers or in the public/ private hospitals and the M.M.D.N.A ( District nurses).

You will need to register as a nurse in Malta to apply for a job.

There have been quite a few questions about working as a Nanny recently but I'm not sure about the job situation and the hourly rates have been quoted between 5 and 10 Euros per hour.

Cheers
Ricky

Hello Harmonie and Ricky

Thank you for your answer and help, I will try.
Since I am not Malta, therefore I asking little help and advices.
I hope I can find something and begin my new life.

Hi Andrea,

it is very difficult to get a job in Malta if you are not on the island.

Personal interviews are usually required and for hotel jobs/ restaurant jobs it is better just to walk the streets and look for job offers posted at the places.

You can send out your cv but in the end you will probably have to decide to move to Malta without a pre-arranged job.

Cheers
Ricky

the only tip I can give you (based on people I know) related to Health Services try to find a job at a Private Hospital.. I know people that came here to improve their english and got a job at Mater Dei... guess what? entire days not listening to a single word in english... just keep that in mind.

Thank you for the help, I will try searching private hospitals, and I hope I will find something soon.

regards
Andrea
