Hi Fellows, after spending some years in West Africa and now back in RSA just decided to look for a new challenge in Tanzania. Well, I only know TZ from frequent buz visits. If I come to TZ as an expat, I may need advise. Nevermind.
I am a German resident in RSA for more than 25 years, still like my Eisbein and Sauerkraut, had it even in Togo and Benin. Not sure what to expect in Dar, still negotiating the contract.
Need yur help: The off-shore pay is clear, but what do I need locally to sustain a good standard of living, if accomodation is paid for?
Looking forward meeting with you guys.

If the accomodation is paid by your employer - you are OK .
You will need ca. USD 1500 - 2000/month for imported quality food,beer and restaurants.RSA standard
