Hello Doha.

I am a recently arrived Aussie; coming from a stint in Kuwait of about five years. My wife should be joining me in about four weeks.

In the mean time, I am interested in meeting new people and finding a place to live. We like travelling, reading, good food and drink and company. My wife is also into knitting, sewing and crafts.

Doh you just missed the Melbourne cup day at the Rugby club BUT there is a website - on facebook - ANZIQ(they are of course Australians Newzealanders In Qatar they arrange various functions for Aussies and Kiwis ( christmas thing coming up soon)
