Check out this website to see if you qualify for a visa. www.immi.gov.au
There is a skills list there which have preference for visas.

Because of the high unemployment rate in Australia locals have preference for jobs. It is hard to get sponsors as the visa application is expensive for the company and time consuming.

As a social worker I do not honestly think you will have any chance of getting a position. Your qualifications need to be verified and are probably not applicable for Australia.

Perhaps you could look at a student visa and then undertake a course in social work. This visa allows you to do part time work and then after you have successfully completed the course you can apply for a visa and a job.

Hope this helps.
