Can any one please let me if i come on a visit visa to rsa is it possible to convert it to a work permit?
if yes kindly let me know the procedure and expenses for it.

Yes, it is possible, you can apply for a Work Permit when you are here on holiday, for example. You will require the usual documents as mentioned on many websites on the Internet, as well as the main document for the Work Permit: the work contract (preferably a permanent contract without an end date).
