Legalities of Employer responsibility to Payment of Salary

Does anyone know if and when a company says the pay date is for example the 21st day of the month, when that date arrives can they then say they may pay you on that date, if not maybe the next day, then maybe I will meet you at the airport with the money.

Does that statement infer they can pay you when they like? Is there a legal argument they must pay you on the date they have stated.

Does anyone know a solicitor one can use for Employment Contractual Agreements.

if you have signed a contract then they have to pay you at the date agreed between you both . otherwise go back to your contract and see what it says :) good luck ,

Hi MadAnnie
Yes must pay at the time specified in the contract maybe before but not after the date specified in the contract.
