I come from a warm country (Algeria), and I don't drink alcohol.
Is it cold in Germany during winter ?

It depends on where you live. Up north they don't have much snow and it's warmer...around 7°C in the winter and windy. Here in the south of Germany its terribly cold, LOTS of snow and can get down to -20°C. I hate winters here, that's why we always fly somewhere warm during Jan. & Feb.!
