Bilingual professional with experience in Sales/Marketing moving to KL

Hi everyone,

I'm moving to KL in two weeks to join my girlfriend who just started working there. 

I'm currently trying to find job opportunities, building on my Masters in Management, my international experience (from Canada, recently spent 3 years in France), my bilingualism in English and French, and my experiences in Sales and Marketing.  My most recent experience has been in the aeronautical industry, and I would love to continue this path if possible.

From what I understand, the best thing to do is to network, in order to contact those who know about opportunities.  Seeing as I know almost nobody in KL, my networking is starting now, with reaching out to you fine folks!

I'm especially hoping to be able to work for a French firm, in order to make the most of my language skills, and to participate in a VIE program. 

Would anyone happen to have any great ideas?
